I received an email from aCave 7 Productions. A company specializing in documentaries. I ended up speaking with a woman who is ehloping on a documentary would explore the questions of inaccessibility to Health Care, (inequality, the threat of privatization, and suggested solutions). The film will feature a number of patients and health care providers from across the country who share their stories of how they are currently struggling within the system. And this woman read happened to remember my CBC interview a few years ago and looked me up. She read my blog and then reached out. infact, I just finished a phone interview with her this very minute. I think it went well.
I have a lot to say on health care and the lack of a doctor in my life. And I didn't hold back. I told her everything. In the end,... I dont even care if it even goes anywhere. It just felt so good to finally have someone to vent to about all this who actually was interested and wanted to hear. Whether they use my story or not is irrelevant. I am just glad someone has chosen to bring the lack of health care to light. Not having a family doctor has literally left me suicidal. Thats a story DOUGY (Ford) needs to hear. Not that he ever will. He doesn't care about our health care system or the people who need it. Which is exactly WHY are health care system is so broken.
So now I will just sit back and wait to hea back from them. Whether I'm in it or not I still want to see the end result of this documentary.
