WTF Canadian government???

I just got a phone call from STATCAN which is a branch of the government or that is the answer the woman gave me when I aske dwho this was?

Anyway,... apparently I am being FORCED to answer a survey/questionarre. Yup,... forced. I told her I was not interested and did not want to answer questions. Do you know what she said,...

This is the Canadian governemtn and you are being (I can't remember the actual word she used - but it meant forced) to do this survey.

So I said or what? I got ot jail? And she said ,... it will get ESCVALATED furthur,......

What the actual fuck,....

Now, I am being threatened becasue I won't answer the governments survey. This is the second attempt for them to get me to do it. They called yesterday and I told them I wa not comfortable talking to someone I dont even know is legit on the telephone and she got mad and I hung up.

Now I get a threatening message today???? Can they force us to answer surveys? The phone call came up STATCAN 1 (833) 977-8287

What does ESCALATE mean and why are they pciking on someone like this???? I have the right to say no,... don't I?
