And just like that,... it's gone

Just to give you an idea what living for one whole month on ODSP's wage of $1308.00.  The money went into my account on the 29th ~ two days ago ~ and it's already gone. I have $3.90 left for the whole month of March. Basically if I need anything now I have to wait until next pay April 1st. I did not get everything I needed but I did get enough that I will not go hungry.

There you see in black and white every penny that I used this month. I am left with a whopping $3.90 ~ how does one have any dignity living like this???  

As you can see pretty much the only thing I buy that is a luxury and not a basic need for me and Maggie is STREAMING. Because I love football (soccer) and I don't' do anything else for entertainment at all I put every extra penny I can get into streaming. 

But in my life there aren't any luxuries. There isn't money for the simple things most people take for granted,....

haircuts

doing your nails (wearing any nail polish at all)

make-up

any form of eating out ~ even buying a cup of coffee isn't in the budget

any form of entertainment (movies, dinners out, soccer games)

pretty much anything that is FUN has been removed from my life.

What can you do to entertain yourself for a whole month on 

$3.90?  The answer is I can go for a walk. THAT is my form of getting out and my entertainment.

I sit at home and watch tv. THAT is all I can do. And that is why I spend any extra money on streaming. 

Soccer and TV is the whole existence of my life. 

I challenge you all. Make a budget for the whole month and tell me how much it costs you. I can guarantee it's a lot more than $1308.00

Now try taking away everything until you get to $1308 and see whats left. You will quickly see that NOTHING is left and you are now sitting at home BROKE unable to go anywhere or do anything.

This whole world runs on MONEY and if you don't have it you will suffer and fall down to the bottom where you will eventually rot in your own sour misery. 

I'm curious actually,.... what is everyones monthly income????

Could you live on      $15,696    ~    A YEAR!
